ReplyDeleteI buy clearance clothes for the next year. Shorts go down under $1 at the end of summer... so even if they don't fit (ever) I can resell them at a consignment sale and make back more than I paid!

I am a follower here - finally. Not sure how that never happened before.
ReplyDeleteI use Amazon Mom Prime for a lot of things - because it used to be super awesome and cheap - less so now that the calculated the money they were losing, so I'm back to square one on where to buy diapers. Perhaps Sam's Club! :)
ReplyDeleteI save money by shopping sales with coupons (but not in a crazy way, only when there are good sales). I also buy all my baby supplies at Sam's. Diapers, wipes, formula (although not anymore, woohoo!), etc. I really do think it saves me a lot of money.

ReplyDeleteI'm terrible at finding ways to be money savvy... I do find that if I go to the gym enough I am too tired to go shopping. :) Also, if I get a sitter (rather than taking my little monsters with me) when I shop I tend to spend a lot less money because I can actually concentrate on what I'm doing and stick to my list. But then again I'm paying for the sitter so I'm not sure that saves me any money (just my sanity.)
ReplyDeleteCoupons,sales, coupons!
ReplyDeleteGarage sales for me!!! Thrift stores also! For food checking newspaper ads, using coupons and making a menu so I know exactly what to shop for!

ReplyDeleteOne way I save money is when I am buying meat, I get the package that is just under or right at 1 lb. or 2 lbs., ect. That way I am saving a few cents. Have you ever noticed how they put them in packages with 1.14 lbs. or 2.07 lbs? That adds up and then you are just adding the extra meat to your meal anyways. And you are saving some calories too!
