Stirring Up Wishes

It's finally here! This is my first ever Givin' In A Fishbowl giveaway! I am going to give each of you the opportunity to share in the power of a wish®. By participating in the Betty Crocker Stirring Up Wishes program with the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, you can help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to bring hope, strength, and joy to their lives.

Oh Betty Crocker, you set the bar so high. I've often been heard saying things like, "Who do I look like, Betty Crocker?" as I throw down a heap of macaroni and cheese with cut up hot dogs in front of my kids. Okay, really, I've never said that. But I might start. It might be my new trademark. I also don't feed my kids macaroni and cheese with cut up hot dogs. At least not very often. I certainly didn't do it last night. But I wanted to get your attention. And I really do love myself some Betty Crocker. Now I have a reason to love the products even more--and so do you.

There are two ways you can help Betty Crocker grant wishes:

Support the Make-A-Wish Foundation® online while saving on your favorite Betty Crocker® products through the Give $5, Get $5 promotion. Just visit StirringUpWishes.com from now through March 31st to donate $5 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help make children’s wishes come true and get $5 worth of downloadable Betty Crocker coupons.

Simply purchase your favorite Betty Crocker® products this spring. For every specially marked package purchased, Betty Crocker will donate 10¢ to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $250,000 and a maximum donation of $500,000.

I was sent a prize pack that included a Betty Crocker® cookie mix (happy sons!), a Betty Crocker® brownie mix (happy husband) and a Betty Crocker® spoon. In addition, a 25 dollar donation is being made to the Make-a-Wish foundation on my behalf.

But this wouldn't be my first ever giveaway if I wasn't giving something away so...

I have one more prize pack to give to one of my readers!

One lucky reader will receive:

  • Betty Crocker® Brownie Mix
  • Betty Crocker® Cookie Mix
  • Betty Crocker® Spoon
  • $25 donation to Make-a-Wish on his/her behalf

  9. I liked Pierce. His story is amazing and he's such a cutie. Also, as a total aside, I had a camper at Sea World one week who had Leaukemia. Obviously I had no idea what his make-a-wish wish might be, but I did arrange to get him to be the volunteer kid in the Shamu Believe show. There wasn't a dry eye in the house amoung the counselors. Seriously. I think maybe you're brother even cried. Okay no he probably didn't. I only remember him being there because he was sitting like 2 rows in front of me and got drowned during Splash time while I miraculously stayed completely dry that day but that's completely beside the point. Anyway. I like this program and this giveaway.

  11. I would grant Ciara's wish. She's a girl after my own heart - wishing for a shopping spree and loving some peanut butter cupcakes with chocolate frosting.
